Essentially, you go to the M&M’s “Space Heroes” website to get the Bookmarklet (just drag the spaceship into your bookmark bar) then jump onto any site you like… click on the Bookmark in your browser bar, and you’re in the game! Very clever and I have no idea how it works but its fun to see how the Bookmarklet interacts with your screen.
Not sure how true this is or if its just a spoof for the internet, but apparently Hasbro have released a modern version of the Monopoly Board which reflects the modern high street of the UK. I personally think its a spoof by the Huffington Post but it was amusing none-the-less…

Millions ‘lack basic net skills’ http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-20236708 Interesting article on the BBC. Funny how we now take digital skills for granted and if you don’t understand the basics, you’re thought of as some kind of dinosaur. Now… I’m off to send a he-mail on my compressor!
Remember the days when ‘My Space’ was the king of Social Network sites, before Mark Zuckerberg invented Facebook and stole its crown. Admittedly by then it was a mish-mash of animated gifs and bad personalisation from its users but its gone back to the drawing board, stripped everything back and redesigned itself. And I actually think it looks good.
With nods to the boards style of Pinterest, Springpad and Tumblr, the new look is so much more aesthetically pleasing.
