I have a shiny DSLR camera which I won in a competition (true story!) I occasionally take it off the auto function but in all honesty it scares me a little. I really want to learn how to use the beast properly so useful resources like this are excellent…

Some really good tutorials on here too as well as printed guides too… One day I will find the time to become a DSLR master!

Thanks for comment Paprika! I won said snazzy camera in a random Newspaper Magazine competition I didn’t even remember entering! I used to have a Canon DSLR (EOS 350) which I had just about gotten to grips with but then the new all singing and dancing one came along with zillions of other functions and I was a bit ‘eeeek!’
Have taken some nice shots of certain things but yet to try it out fully in an arty sense. I do love that there are so many freebie things on the web now that are useful resources. God bless the internet!
